A " BOY DOCTOR." That superstition is hard to kill, and credulity flourishes like a green bay tree, is shown by an extraordinary story in the "Pall Mall Gazette" about the boy doctor of Duhallow, who is the latest sensation of the South of Ireland. "This boy's name is Timothy Dineon, and during the past week he has been the occasion of some extraordinary scenes in town of Kanturk. People were to be seen entering, the town, some of them having travelled great distances, asking for the .address of this wonderful youth, whose fame as an annihilator of the ills that flesh is heir to has spread all over that part of the country. Young Dineen is only in his eleventh year, and he is believed to be able to cure animals as well as human beings, but especially children, of a great many ailments. • It appears he was Jjorn on a Good Friday and baptised on hn Easter Monday,'and hence his power, according to the country people. He is described as being a very ordinary lad, and not "particularly bright or intelligent, but he has the greatest belief in his powers, which, according to report, hays, been exercised with marvellous success in numerous cases treated by him in Macroom, Castleialand, and Killarney."
