THE " KLONDIKE NUGGET.' Two papers are published at Dawson City. One of them, the " Klondike Nugget," is about a foot and a half long by a foot,, and has two pages. Price 2s. That it fills a long-felt want is evident from the following anecdote which it triumphantly records :— "He worked his way laboriously over the sidewalks (sidewalks were no use to him) to our office and opened the doors with * Well, boys, I thought I'd tell you how we like your paper. Last winter (it is dark all the winter in Klondike and light all the summer) we were so hard up for reading that we used to go to the stores and pay the storekeepers's > much an hour to let us read the labels on the cans, but I reckon the cans won't be in it this winter against the ' Nugget.'"
