It ia probable that the newly ormed Chrjstohuroh ■ Garrieon Band will pr-rade on the occasion. - • The E Battery held a company parade last night under . Sergeant-Major There was a muster of about forty-five of all, ranks. A church parade of the battery will be held next Sunday, at GovernorVß&y. A, start will be made at" 8 a.m. and the corps will tqarch .over to Governor's Bay,-where they WiHatten.d'service. After dinner they wili march to "Lyttelton, whence they will proceed to town "by train. The Canterbury Engineera mustered in, Sood strength laa_- night under "Captain ** Dougall. The various squada were by the non-eommiaaioned pffioers in flag, signalling, laying out forts, and other work.
