PERSONAL ITEMS.
The Hon. W. H. Reynolds was a passenger from Wellington by the Rotomahaua yesterday, and went on by the express. Dr. McFarlane was a passenger by the Talune yesterday morning. Mr Justice Denniston was a passenger for Wellington by the Rotomahana last night. The Hon. C. C. Bowen went by the same steamer. S|Mr and Mrs Sidney Webb arrived from Dunedin by tbe express last night, and proceeded to Wellington by the Rotomahana. Mr F. C. Tabart left yesterday by the Talune on a trip to Tasmania. Mr and Mrs Phillips, of Windwhistle, are in town. Mr H. W. Aitken, of Glasgow, arrived from Wellington by tbe Rotomahana yesterday. He leaves for England by "the Rimutaka on Thursday. -MLr F. Waymouth returned from the south by last night's express. Mr G. J. Smith, M.H.R., was a passenger for Wellington by the Rotomahana yesterday. Messrs J. U. Collins and A. E. Flower were passengers by the same boat. Mr A. P. O'Callaghan went south by yesterday's express.
