WELLINGTON DRAINAGE SCHEME.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, June 2. At a meeting of the City Council tonight, the drainage engineer submitted a report stating that the scheme would be completed by July, and that his original estimate of £173,000 would not bo exceeded. He s_id that he had penalised McGrath and Co., the contractors for the outfall portion of the works, £1400 odd for delay. On the other hand, McGrath and Co. are claiming £2000 odd for extras.
