MINISTERIAL.
(TKKSS ASSOCIATION TEIASGRAM.) STRATFORD, May 19. The Hon. J. M'Kenzie opened the Victoria bridge here this afternoon, in the presence of some 2000 people. A procession of the State school children, the local bodies, Sec, headed by the band, marched through the town. Mr M'Kenzie said the erection of the bridge without Government assistance, and the i emarkable progress of the district, showed that the people were energetic and self-reliant.
