During April the values of the exports named, shipped from the colony, were:— Butter £16,649 (New Plymouth £11,144), cheese £17,389 (Dunedin £9841), frozen beef £7905 (Wellington, Napier and Waitara about equal), frozen mutton £65,877 (Wellington £20,349, Napier £13,804, Christchurch £11,892), frozen lamb £72,202 (Christchuroh £37,437, InvercargiU £10,476, Timaru £11,856. %
