Two district matches take place today, in which thirty players from the Senior dubs of Chriatchurch take part. Fifteen! of the number meet North Canterbury at .Lancaster Park in the afternoon, where also the Lanwood and Sydenham fight over the Junior Flag. The other Senior Fifteen leave Cathedral square at 10 a,m. by dtag for Leeeton, where they comgate against a picked team representing the Uesmere district. The proceeds of the matches at Lancaster Park are in aid of the widow of the late Mr Hewitt, who was a member of the Sydenham Clob.
