Jamea iSbrachan Johustou, aged 54 years, was sentenced to fifteen mouths' imprisonment on two charges of forgery. John Horn, for stealing from the person, was sentence t to eighteen months' imprisonment ; VVjIIUhi Watts and George Bunney, for breaking into a dwelling to two years; Jatnee JBuro, for breaking iuto a shop, to two years. The.Grand Jury found no true bill against John Anderson. Arthur Alleu Fox, tor damaging property to the extent of £5 by breaking a window, was sentenced to three months' hard labour ; Thoinns McNamara (seventeen), for breaking into a warehouse at Balclu&ha and stealing, to twelve months. Iv the case of James Gray, charged with theft from the person, the jury, aftar a lont; retirement, returned a verdict of " Guilty," and sentence was deferred.
