DEFINITION OF DRUNKENNESS.
At the Wellington Magistrates' Court on Friday, Mr J. C. Martiu said that a man mult be held to be drunk, no matter how iro»Hthe quantity of liquor he may have imbibed, as long as the liquor caused him to tot to the public aunny&nce in such a way ai he would not have done had he not taken any. Mr Martin judges drunkenness not by lh« quantity imbibed, but by the effect, produced.
