THE TICK SCOURGE.
The Press Association telegraphs, regarding the lick scourge prevalent in Queensland, the Agricultural Department think there i» little possibility of its spreading to tbU colony. The few cattle which are imported here from Australia have to undergo ninety days' quarantine before they are allowed amougst the herds of the colony, ■nd the hides that are imported have to be well salted or chemically mated.
