. ROAD BOARDS. RIOCARTON ROAD DISTRICT. NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Riccartonßoad Board, at its next meeting on the Bth day of July, 1835, to MAKE and LEVY a GENERAL ROAD RATE on all the Rateable Properties in the Riccarton Road District of One Halfpenny in the £ for the year ending the 31st day of March, 1896, also in accordance with the terms of a Special Order from the South Waimakariri River Board, dated Bth of April, 18S5, it is the intention of the Riccarton Road Board, at the same meeting, to Make and Levy River Rates as under, viz., on all the Rateable Properties included in Class 1., One-sixteenth of a penny in the £. and on aH the rateable properties included in Class 11. Three Sixty-fourths of a Penny in the £, such river rates to be for the year ending 31st day of March, 1896. Also, in accordance with the terms of a stiecial order from the Christchurch Drainage Board, dated 27th day of April, 1835, it is the intention of the Riccarton Road Board at the sanifl meeting to make and lev}- drainage rates as under, viz.:—On all the rateable properties comprised within the drainage sewage area Three Fart hint's in the £, and on all rateable properties within the drainage rural area Three Farthings in the £; such drainage rate 3to be for the year ending 3ist day of December, 1895. The whole of the said road, river, and drainage rates to be due and payable in one sum at the office of the Riccarton Road Board, Fendalton, on the 29th day of July, 1835.
