CHRISTCHURCH. Fkidat, June 7. (Before H. \T. Bishop, S.M.) Dbumcekness.—For this offence a man was fined 6s, or in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. —H. Nightingale for riding a bicycle on the footpath in Springfield road, and R. Darling for keeping an unregistered dog, were each fined 5s with costs. Civil Case.—Betts v Eayrea, claim £5 or the return ot wearing apparel detained on account of arrears for board, with £5 damages for detention. Mr Byrne for the plaintiff, Mr McConnel for the defendant. The case had been adjourned for the identification of several articles, and was now again adjourned for further evidence of the same kind.
