Mr R. H. Rhodes, of BluecliSs, waa in town yesterday.
Mr Inspector Pender is a passenger for England by the s.s. Doric, which leaves Lyttelton to-day.
Mr G. F. Campbell.Deputy Commissioner of Taxes, went South by the express yesterday.
Mr Kerr, proprietor of the Timaru Hereld, returned to Timaru, from Christchurch, yesterday.
Dr. Morris returned to Pleasant Point yesterday.
Mr J. Joyce, of Lyttelton, went South by the express yesterday. Mr G. Mcßae, of Tekoa, came into town last night.
Mr Murphy, the Secretary of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association, leaves early next week to attend the Winter Show of the Dunedin Agricultural and Pastoral Association.
