LABOUR QUESTIONS.
Preta Association— By Telegraph—Copyright. Sydney, January 21. The agreement between the Wallsend miners and the proprietary of the mine has failed. The stumbling block is believed to be che refusal of the management to increase the yardage race. Several Lodgea have rejected the Delegate Boatd's resolution, and it is anticipated that the hitch at the Walleend mine will cause others to do so, too, as Wallsend is always regarded as the leader in any new movement. The Wioßan and 'Bullock Inland col'ieries have notified a similar reduction to the Hetton mine. Adelaide, January 21. Owing to the masters notifying a reduction in wagea there is likely to be a lock out of tbe bookmakers.
