SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF TEMPERANCE.
The twenty-second annual meeting of the Grand Division No. 10 Sons and Daughters of Temperance was opened yes-, terday in the Temperance Hal!, Gioucesterl street. - The officers present were G.W.P., Bro. G. W. Andrews; P.G.W.P., Bro. G. M. R. Slater; G.W. Associate, D. Eenealy; G. Scribe, W. H. Seed; G. Treasurer, F. Cresswell; G. Conductor, F. Lucas; G, Trustee, D. C. Cameron. The following representatives were also present:—Antidote Division, Dunedin, Bros. Jack,'. Adams, Clark. Crawford, Eraser; Perseverance Division, - Bros. I Kenealey and - Clothier. Resolution Division, Rangiora, Bros.- A. Yaillint and H> k Rogers; Try Again, Woodend, Bro. * Little ; .Helpmate, Ash* burton, Bro. Andrews; Excelsior, Addington, Bro. Jones; Elim, St. Albans, Bros. Lucas and Williams ; Sunbeam, Waoganui, Bro. F. A. Jones ; Advance, Wellington, Bros. D- Gain and J. Patterson; Hope of Sydenham, Bros. Kent and Ward. A large amount of correspondence was dealt with, and the report of the Executive re alterations in benefits and contributions was received.
The reports of the G.W.P. and Grand Scribe were adopted, aud the Division adjourned. On resuming at 1-30 p.m. the reports of the trustees and auditors were received and adopted. Bro. . Gain, ou behalf of the Advance Division, Wellington, invited the. Grand Division to hold the' next Grand Lodge Session there. lb was unanimously decided to accept the invitation for the first week in January, 1895. It was decided to raise the -salary of the Grand Scribe to £40 per. annum. The officers for the ensuing year were '"elected as follows -.--G.W.P., Bro. D. Kenealy; W.A., Bro. D. Gain; G. Scribe, Bro. W. H. Seed (re-elected); G. Treasurer, Bro. Cresswell; G. Chaplain, Bro. F. W. Jones; G. Conductor, Bro. Cooper; G. . Sentinel, Bro. Lucas; G. Trustees, Bros. D. C. Cameron, A. C. Birt, and A. Vincent; Auditors, Bros. Williams and Newman. The consideration of the business sheet was then; proceeded with. -
