(press association telegrams.) NAPIER, November 29. At a large representative ■ meeting of Telegraph officers it was unanimously decided to snpport Mr R. F. Houlihan, as the Telegraph representative on the Board of Appeal. The meeting was very enthnaiastic, and fully recognised the importance of the Board. . OAMARU, November 29. The Rev. F. Setb-Smith, of the Congregational Church here, has resigned, and vacates the charge in three months. DUNEDIN, November 29. Robert Christie, who is employed at Sargood's boot factory, waa fined 24s and costs for smuggling tobacco from tbe Te Anau. The new insurance buildings will be OOftv pleted immediately. A new gaol is to be pnt in hand at once to relieve the labour market.
