The steamers Omapere aud Janet Nicoll arrived yesterday irom Westport. H.M.S. Tauranga should arrive in Port this morning from Port Chalmers. The Uniou Steamship Company's s.s. Te Anau, Captain W. Waller, from Sydney via northern ports ariived here at 10.30 a.m. yesterday. She left Sydney at 1.30 p.m. on the 17th inst., and reached Auckland at 10 a.m. on, the 23rd; left again at 10 p.m. same day, Gisborne at 7 a.m. ou the Napier at 5.30 p.m. on the 25th, and reached Wellington at 6.30 a.m. on the 27th ; left again at 4.30 p.m. same day, aud arrived as above. From Sydney to Auckland bad strong easterly gate., with head sea, thence to Napier light easterly winds; from Napier to Wellington strong S. E. gale and heavy head sea ; from Wellington to Cape Campbell fresh S.E. winds aud high head sea, and for the remainder of the passage moderate S. E. winds.
