Kelly, was charged with drunkenness and - assaulting George Evans in . Manchester street, on Saturday night. He admitted the charges and was fined 6s for drunken* ness, and 10s for the assault, and ordered to ' pay Is 6dcab hire. Elizabeth Smith, was fined 10a, in default forty-eight hours. Two first offenders were fined 5a each.
