INYERCARGILL, February 22. The inter provincial cricket match Oiago v iSoulhland was completed to-day, and was a \*ery easy win for the visitors, who scored 195 in their second innings to Southland's 35. For Otago the principal soorere were :—Parker 45, Ritchie. 42, Baker 32, Clarke 28, Lawtou 11. Stepheneon took five wickets for 66, Carver two for 39, Kingsland 1 for 34, W. Carver 1 for 28, and Gibson 1 for 6. It was expected that the local team would have got over their funk at th£ bowling so apparent on the first day, bub live did not score, and the best, A. Carver aud Smith, made 14 and 10 respectively. Parker took eigh6, : wickets for 25, Clark two* for V. The weather was very hot and there was a capital wicket.

A match >va9 played at Rangior* on Thursday between the Kaiapoi and Kangiora Clubs, which resulted in. a win for the latter by 6 runs. The scores were—-Rangiora 82 (H. Cave 24, D. Graham 14) ; Kaiapoi 76 (W. J. Moir46).
