INSURANCE COMPANIES v BANKS AND LAW.
A very pleasant gam* was played at Lancaster Park yesterday between team» representing respectively the Ineuranoe Companies and the Banks and Law, which resulted in in a win for the latter by 35 runs on tho farst iauings. Kitto played toand and attrative cricket for hie 62, while several others of those engaged also showed good fox in. Clarke, Wood, and Wigley bowled well for their respective sides, and the defeat of the Insurance side, which contained some formidable talent, was rather unexpected.
