THE NEW ZEALAND MATCH.

The members of the New Zealand team, with the exception of Lawton, who arrives from Dunedin this evening, were at Lancaster Park last evening and indulged in some good batting practice at the nets, under Mr Ollivier's supervision. The men will put the final touches on their preparation this evening when they will take the field and have some all-round practice, including running between wickets.

The programme of the concert to be given to-morrow evening in the Oddfellows' Hall by the members of the Sydney team for the benefit ot the Canterbury Cricket Association, appears elsewhere. The New South Wales men will provide the majority of the items. -They wiil be assisted by Mies Aiyce Leech, who will sing two songs, Mr W. Leech, who will play a couple of piano solos, and Mr F. R. Wood house. Such a combination ought to draw a crowded house.
