The New Zealand Shipping Company's cargo steamer Duke of Sutherland, Captain Whymper, was busy yesterday coaling from trucks, and bailed iate last night for Timaru, where she picks up a further consigument of her cargo. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Compauy's cargo steamer Maori has almost completed | the landing of her Lyttelton cargo, and will sail again about the middle' of this I week. The barque Grasmere, which started for [ Kaipara ou Saturday,* was detained by the I northerly waather, ami ia still in the stream-. Tne brigautiue Douglas which" started for Aucklaud the? ; same? day,. is also still anchored off the Heads. The fine ship Maxwell is taking in ballast, and will sail ih the course of a lew days for Newcastle. The' Union Steamship Company's s.s. Taluue, Captain G. Vy.-'Todd, arrived at the wharf at 8.30 a.m. yesterday.
