The monthly' meeting df this Board was held on February sth. Present—Sir John i Hall (Chairman), Messrs Parker Westenra, Alexander Colvill and K. N. Bealey. The Surveyor's report w__ read and considered. The following-correspondence- was read :— From the Board's solicitor respecting the operation of the Coutractors and Workmen. Lien Act, 1892, and the Workmen's Wages Act, 1893, on payments to be made under contracts -with the Board. Resolved that the form of general conditions of contract in use by tbe Board be altered in accordance with the solicitor's recommendation. From Mr T.
