January 28. Arrived —Penguin, from Nelson; Rotorua, from the South. Sailed —Kennedy and Janet Nicol, for the Wesfc Coast; Kiwi, for the Chathams; Mahinapna, for Nelson, Taranaki and Onehunga. The Union Steamship Company's charter of the Maori, which left for London yesteiday, expires on the arrival of the vessel at Home. Captain Richardson and his officers will then leave the vessel and await the arrival of another steamer for which the Company is now in negotiation, for the Calcutta-New Zealaud trade. Sailed—Wairoa, barque, Fox, for London, with a cargo of 4548 bales of wool and skins, 3 bales hair, 93 casks tallow and pelts. Rotokino, for Dunedin.
