MEETINGS OF CREDITORS.
RE J. J. MILLS.
The first meeting of creditors in the estateof John James Mills, fanner, late of Prebbleton;' now of Christchurch, was held at the Official Assignee's office yesterday. The debtor's statement"; showed as under :— Unsecured- creditors, £165 4s ;, secured creditors, _£157; estimated value of securities', £30; surplus to contra, £127—total debts, £292 4s Id. Assets, nil. The unsecured creditors over £5 were—F. W. East, £8* 10a; J. Hastie, £26 10s lOd; Howell Bros., £15 16s 2d; Todhunter and Jennings, £10; A. H. Anderson, £7; Geo. King and Co., £14 16a 3d., The secured creditor was Johanna ALUs. The debtor was examined at some length, after which the meeting was adjourned for a week.
