COURT OF APPEAL.

WELLINGTON, May 6: The Court of Appeal to-day dismissed the motion to dissolve the injunction in the Attorney-General v the Railway Commissioners, holding that the Public Works Act giv_s no power to the Commissioners to take the whole width of a street for a railway station. The Court afterwards dealt with the appeal by the defendant in the case of the Colonial Ba_k v Mao Donald from the decision of the Chief Justice, refusing the application of the defendant for the trir.l of the case by a jury. The case is one in Which the Bank sought to set aside a certain transaction as fraudulent within the meaning of the statute of Elizabeth. The Court dismissed the appeal, holding that the Chief Justice had properly exercbod his discretiolnr«fualn£»Jtury.
