AMERICAN DEGREES.
TO THE EDITOR OF TIIE PRESS. Sir,—Mr Crowe writes that Ido not pay proper respect to "a degree from the Kentucky University." I am sorry, but I do liot know the domiaetclal value of degrees in obscure American Universities. I have heard that they are generally quoted at per bushel—a discount en taking a quantity. Are they recognised "ad eundum gradum " in our University here! I think not.— Yours, &c Spectator.
