DETERMINED SUICIDE.

(PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)

AUCKLAND, January 13. Admoa Chapman, of Norman's Hill, Onehunga, committed suicide at 1.30 a. m. to-day. Hβ got a single-barrelled rifle, and attaching a strap to the trigger of the gun and to his foot fired the weapon and blew his brains out. The neighbours heard two shots at an interval of ten minatea, -which is somewhat singular. The deceased was found fully dressed, sitting in a chair. Hβ was a man of independent means, about fifty years of age, and married. The jury before whom the inauest was conducted found that he shot himself while in a state of temporary insanity caused by domestic trouble.
