Beceired November 25th, 11 a.m. Paris, November 24. Four thousand miners at Courriers captured and greatly iDjured the Tiven mine before troops expelled them. Two attempts were made to blow up the colliery tramway at Lens with dynamite, bat the cavalry charged the crowd and dispersed them. The Municipal Council has voted the miners 12,000 francs. Received November 25th. 12.15 p.m. London, November 24. The carpenters have accepted the award of the arbitrator in the dispute with the employers. Melbourne, November 25. The Metropolitan Gas Company has informed its employees that it must reduce their wages by sixpence per day. Tue Company haa been compelled to take this step owing to the depression.
