MOKAU COAL LEASES.

[PRBB3 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.] WELLINGTON, February 4 Mr A. R. Guinness, member for Grey month, before he left Wellington this afternoon, signed an agreement with Mr Joshua Jones, of Mokau, for a lease by the Grey Valley Miners' Association, ol 2000 acres of the Mokau coal property on a royalty rental. The lease Is for thirty years, and practical operations will oa begun within one month. The miners intend to carry on operations as a Co-opera-tive Company, and to the number of about eighty are prepared to leave for Mokau immediately on Mr Guinness'return to Grevmoutb. Satisfactory arrangements are being made as to shipping and other details.
