ARRANGEMENT AS TO THE LEADERSHIP.
IPKR PBXSS ASSOCIATZOK.I Received January Bth. 10.30 _m. London, January 7. It is believed that Mr Parnell has won over Mr O'Brien to his side. Mr Parnell intends to visit Limeriok on Sunday, Received January Bth, 10.45 a.m. London, January 7. Mr Balfour has returned thanks for the generous response to the appeal issued by the Lord-Lieutenant and himself on behalf of distressed Irish families. Mr Parnell and Mr O'Brien were closeied together for many hours yes terday, and resume their conference co-day. {Received January Bth, 8 p.m. London, January 7. The Conference between Messrs O'Brien and Parnell has ended, and it is officially intimated that a peaceable settlement on the question of the leadership is effected. It is reported that Mr Parnell agrees to retire from the head if Mr Justin McCarthy resigns, thus leaving the whole party to elect a new leader. Mr Arnold Morley, M.P. for Nottingham, is reported to have warned Mr O'Brien that Mr Gladstone insists on Mr Parnell's final withdrawal from public life. Mr Dillon approves of Mr O'Brien temporarily replacing Mr Parnell as toe leader of the party.
