AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir,—Your information in this morning's i ssue that Mr Stanton, of Woodend, has threshed out 93 bushels of wheat per acre from a paddock of 7| acres, suggests to mc the advisability, in the general interests of the colony, of collecting statistics of unusually he**vy yields of our products. It will be little trouble to farmers to supply such particulars to—say, the Secretary of the Agricultural Association, but such particulars must be authenticated to convince our Australasian neighbors and others. To supply the averages for the colony is generally sufficient, but returns of the heavier crops would be very instructive.—Yours, &c., Arthur Appleby. March 14th.
