LEESTON V LANCASTER PARK.
An eleven from the Leeston Club played a match with a team ef the LsnoASter Park Club yesterday. The lxsal men too good for the country plajera and won the match on the first innings by two wiokets. The scores were—Leeston, 18G. (Willis 84 not out; Lock wood 18, W. Frith 17, Dr. Withers 14, Hammond 13) J Busob, and Shannon were the moss successful trundlers. Lancaster Park, eight wickets for 168. (Baker 48, S. Forsyth, uotout, 41, Board 26, Riphael 21, W. Bush 16, Birney, senr, 16). Fritb, Mills and Aid red got the wickets.
A cricket match, which was played on Friday afternoon, between the Richmond and East Christcaufch Bohco'.s resulted treatly in favor of the former. For the last, Arniiiage (8J and MoLtren (8) were Che only ones able to lacis the bowling of McDonald and Price, while for the £iohmond, Price (23) was the top score.
