ADDINGTON V LYTTELTON.

The above match waß played oa the Addington ground yesterday (Anniversary Day), and resulted moat disastrously for Lyttelton, they being defeated by an innings and 222 runs. The scores were— Addington, 341 j Lyttelton, 58 and 66. For the former McMurray 87, Slater 58, Atkinson 46, Turner 33, Halley 23, Page 18, Prebble 16, Athby 14, W. Ogier 12, and A. Batten 10 (not out) showed good form. For the latter no player could reach double figures in the first innims, and only W. Forsyth (a substitute) in the second innings, he playing very nicely for 41. Halley and Turner were the most successful bowlers for Addington, and Atkinson and Seymour for Lyttelton.
