The weather vouchsafed to this meeting yesterday was all that could be desired, but, probably owing to counter attractions, the attendance was no larger than usual. An excellent lunch was provided by host Free, nicely placed on the table, and well served. The totaliaator was fairly well patronised, and at the time of onr leaving the course, which was before the imprcvised Consolation Handicap hai been run, -.1521 had beta patted through the machine.
