NOTICE is hereby Given that the New Zealand Shipping Company Limited intend to Present a Petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand at the sitting to be holden at WeUington in the month of June next praying for leave to introduce a BiU to be intituled An Act to Empower the New Zealand Shipping Company Limited to alter its Memorandum of Association. By the said BUI it is intended to empower the said Company by special resolution to alter the Memorandum of Association of the said Company and to extend the power thereby given to the said company of borrowing and raising money to the borrowing and raising of money on the uncaUed capital of the Company whether by means of debentures or otherwise. Copies of the said BiU wUI be deposited in the Office of the Examiner of Standing Orders on or before the commencement of the session.
