Whitefoord, Esq., R.M.} Dbunkenness.—lsabella Leckie, against whom forty-five previous conviotions are recorded, was fined £3, or in default seven days' imprisonment W. B. Stanley, who had. been discharged 'oh Tuesday after a course of medical treatment for lunacy from drink, was again brought up for being found drunk. Crviii Cases.—-Sydenham Borough Council v Heathcote Road Board. , T,his was a claim for _46 12s 6d, for charges in the repairing, undertaken by the plaintiffs,, of roads partly in the district of the defendants. Judgment was for the plaintiff for the amount clainlod with costs Of Court, solicitor's; fee £1 and the expenses of three witnesses „1 2s. Judgment went by default for plaintiffs in 'Mason, Struthera vChriatian£2l 133 lid, :. and Long v Piper and another ,£3114 a 6d. Vizard v Wood was adjourned tfll I Febuary 7th.
