The Loch Kea left Liverpool in Sea 2nd, and cast off from tt c tug on the 3rd. She departed out of view of the SaßJar Islands on the 7th, and crossed tbe >qnator in3l W. on the 26ih. Upon the fiftieth d«y out the Cape of Good Hope was pasted in 47 S.« and the vessel after that averaged 241 miles per day for a full fortnight, the beet days ran being 312 miles. The Snares were made last Friday, since which equally nor'-westera have prevailed- Captain Wileen was formerly cbief officer of the Loch Dee (now in harbor), and for several years in tbe Aackland Jtrade with Captain Black, than wham there is scarcely a more popular mariner to be found in the Home-New Zealand trade. The Loch Ken is owned by Messrs J. and D. Sproat, of Liverpool, a smart iron barque now about twelve years afloat. Sac is ono of tbe Clyde bailt West Coast American traders, and the passage she has jost finished entitles her to rank amongst the clippers. No doubt Captain f?i]Bon on his maiden voyage as master tried her- sailing powers to some advantage and lost no opportunity, in proof of which it may he mentioned that the vessel came into port with her Btnnsail booms up. The agents and charterers, the New Zealand Shipping Company, entered the barque at the Customs immediately upon her arrival, due notice of which v given » consignees in another column. Sailed—Handa Isle, for Sydney; Canterbury, ship, McMillan, for London, with twelve passengers ; Phasis, ship, Brown, for London; Manx Qaeen, barque, for Glasgow. Bluff, Febrnary 21. The Botomahana was detained here all day owing to no certificate being aboard from Hobart for Burton's Circus horses. A telegraph certificate was received from Hobart, and the steamer Bailed at four o'clock.
