The largest wool sale yet held in the province took place on Saturday at Hoadley and Lyons premises. Both colonial and English buyers were represented, and the bidding was keen, high pricw being realised. Merino greasy brought B£d to Mfd, nearly aU gong attop prices. For locks prices were from 4Jd to■ 6M, | crossbred greasy brought from 5Jd for J****** \to 94 for fair; clothing locks and fleeces from ! 3id to sd; skins, crossbred, 5Jd ; medium Bhort, 3d to 3Jd ; merinos, sjd to 7JHL
