VICTORIA RACING CLUB SPRING MEETING.

The following acceptances were posted at Mr Bigot's office on Wednesday, August 7th :— Melbourne Cup, a sweepstakes of 20 sovs. each. 10 ft., or 5 if declared, with 500 adilfd. Tie winner of any handicap race of the value of 200 sovs. after the declaration of the weights to carry 51b. extra ; of two or more such race3, 81b. extra : of any such race of the value of 100 sovs , 31b. extra; of two or more such races, 51b. extra. The second horse to receive 50 sovs., and the third 20 sovs oat of the stake Two miles. The remainder of the . sweeps take (10 sovs.) to be made good tho day of general entry. st. lb. Mr J.
