Tfcey remain in Cliri tehnreh on Sunday, and leave tiat city by train as early as possible on Monday morniujf, taking half an hour for breakfast at Aetbnibm, ea honr at Timaru, and an hour ani & half at Oamaru, arriving at Dnnedia at "o'clock the same evening. Mr Stoat ha» introduced a Bill to amend the law relating to the administration of the estates of decease*! persons The Bill is chiefly devoted to explaining and consoKd&ting the present law on the subject, and to simplifying the existing rcacbinelry. The duties of execntors are clearly defined, and the; are amply protected in the performance of their functions. The Supreme Court may allow a commission not exceeding 5 per cent, to the executors. On the other hand executors trili have to find sureties unaer* : naa,TT bonds for the doe* performance of their; '•Arties. The la c t portion of the Bill deals with tbe succession of illegitimate children of illegitimate parents, incaoes where no legitimate child sorvives. bnt no provision is made for the illegi--tiasate chDAr en of legitimate parents. DBCEASKD WIFE'S §ISTXE. The Deceased "Wife's Sister Marriage Bill of Dr Hodgkon=on consists of only one clause, beside* the short title. This provides that all marriages solemnized in the colony with a deceased wife's sister, after the passing of the Act, shall be legal. The usual clause, recognising murisgea of this nature previously contracted in other colonies, where they have Wα legal for some years, is cot appended.
