The heaviest package weighs about four tons thirteen hundred weight, and the largest, which weighs about four tons, measures about thirty-two feet by Beven feet nine inches by two feet nine inches. The packages will be loaded and unloaded by the Government. Each Tender must be accompanied by a marked cheque equal in amount to 10 per cent of the amount of the tender, to be held as security for the completion of the contract, in the event of the tender being accepted. The whole quantity must be delivered within two months from date of acceptance of tender. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any Telegraph-office by NOON of the same date, provided that written tenders in due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's office by the same hour.
