EDUCATIONAL MEETING. A MEMORIAL having been presented to the Board of Education from a considerable portion of the inhabitants of the Woodend District, as hereinafter described, praying for the formation of the locality into a separate Educational District, I hereby give notice in accordance with the provisions of the Educational Ordinance 1871, and Amendment Ordinance 1872, that a PUBLIC MEETING of the householders in the locality will be held on TUESDAY, the 20th instant, at 7 p.m., in the present Schoolroom. The following are the proposed boundaries :— Commencing at a point on the sea beach due east of the northeast corner of section 865 ; thence in a straight line to the said corner; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of the said section and sections 1126, 1241, to the north-west corner of section No. 1241 ; thence southerly along the western boundary of said section and section No. 947 to the Native Reserve; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the said reserve to the south-west corner of section 1258; thence easterly along Lee's road to the south-east corner of section 2693 ; thence in a straight line due east to the sea ; thence following northerly by the sea to the starting point.
