THE CITY COUNCIL INVITES TENDERS to be lodged at the Town Clerk's Office, Manse street, on or before Friday, 16th February, 1872, at four p.m.. for the WHOLE OR ANY PORTION of £4000 value of CORPORATION BONDS. The Bonds are issuable under the authority and provisions of the Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865; bear interest at the rate of 7 per centum per annum, payable half-yearly at the option of the purchaser, in either London, Melbourne, or Dunedin ; and are secured on the city rates. The Bonds are for £100 each, or such higher amount as may be arranged with any purchaser, and will be redeemable in the year one thousand nine hundred and two. J. M. MASSEY, Town Clerk.
