The CATnBDEAX Commission.—We aro requested to state that the following gentlemen have been appointed members of the Cathedral Cfcinmiseion by tho Standing Committee of the Synod of Christchurch, namely : —His Honor, S. Bealey, Esq., Joshua Strange Williams, Esq., and Cyrus Davie, Esq., in the room of J Hall, Esq., J. E. FitzGerald, Esq., and R. J. S. Harmon, Esq., resigned. Chbist's Coixegb.—We are informed that Mr. Jos. P. Bcor, of the Training College, Cheltenham, has been appointed English Master of Christ's Collo_o Grammar School, and is expected to arrive in tho Scbastopol about tho end of this month. Mr. Bear, we believe, is highly recommended by lus superiors at tho Cheltenham Training College.
