SOME HIGH SCORING YESTERDAY Scores were high in a number of games in the Central Bay of Plenty Hockey Association’s weekly competitions, which were continued yesterday. Conditions were fine and warm and some matches were watched by good crowds. Results:—
A grade: Women: Te Teko 3 v Rovers 2, Apanui 6 v Awakeri 2. Men: Matata 6 v Whakatane 4, Riverslea 3 v Rovers 1, Awakeri 3 v Apanui 2. B grade: Women: Huimai 4 v Otakiri Stars 0, Paroa 10 v Otakiri 0. Men: Otakiri Stars 3 v Huimai 1, Rangers 6 v Otakiri 1.
