Sidelights On A Honolulu Conference

The many interesting incidents and sidelights she had experienced at a conference at Honolulu provided the subject for much of the talk by Mrs McNaughten, Tauranga, to the annual meeting of the Eastern Bay of Plenty Federation of Women’s Institutes at .Whakatane. Mrs McNaughten has been chosen to attend a further conference at Copenhagen. She described the customs j and way of living of the people and also referred to the attractive tropical flowers and vegetation that grew in profusion everywhere. The meeting accorded Mrs McNaughten an enthusiastic vote of thanks.
