CALEDONIANS’ MEETING

Sir,—l beg for space to give my opinion regarding the Caledonian Society’s annual meeting. As a true Scot I don’t wonder that a lot of ex-Scots of the district will take no part to support the Society,- as some members have no desire to support the chief by carrying out the Scottish traditions or to abide by the rules. There were some members present who for some reason would like to alter the existing rules which have been recognised and abided by in all parts of the Commonwealth. The trivial petty matters which were brought up for excuses would disgrace any true Scot besides being a real disgrace to Scotland. Vnnvc! pfp BONNIE SCOTLAND.
