NEW DOMAIN COURTS FOR WHAKATANE
With five , new courts marked out on the Whakatane Domain beside the tennis courts all future basketball games pf the Whakatane Basketball Association will be played there as from this Saturday. To open play trial games to select players for the Whakatane representative team are to be played at 1.15 p.m. while competition games will be continued at 2.15 p.m.
The draw for Saturday;— 2.15 p.m.: Mcßaes v Olympics, on court. 1, referee Miss J. Sisam; Paroa Minors v Taneatua, on court 2, Miss J. Arbon; Ruatoki v Paroa A on court 3, Mrs J. Mole; Redwings v Poroporo on court 4, Miss A. Tautini; The Stewarts v Matatua on court 5, Mrs J. Lynds.
